Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt in London on the 19th of November 1972. Her birthplace was in London, to her Chinese mother and French father. When she was five, she was able to move to Toronto, Canada and has called it home ever since. She was a Parisian catwalk-model prior to her beginning a career as an actor. Annuka was her first film appearance as a character in Black Robe from 1991. To honor her performance, she was awarded a nomination to the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui's appearance In Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer were then followed by guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. Then, in John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the series over 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation as well Resident Evil Apocalypse followed in 2004. In 2006, she got her first major role as a series character in the series 24 -- Twenty Four. Holt made a few guest appearances in series as well as smaller roles in film. The actress landed a leading role in Hostages (2013), and played a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. In The Returned, the US version of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
